Description
The KI-XG-DP2WA Series is a professional-grade DALI-2 DT8 constant current LED driver rated at 100W, built for architectural lighting installations where control, reliability, and installation flexibility are non-negotiable. It accepts a wide input range of 120–277VAC, making it compatible with both North American and international electrical systems without modification.
Output is constant current, adjustable from 150mA to 1500mA across a voltage range of 12–70V, with a current ripple below 2.0% and a tolerance of ±2.5%. These are tight numbers. In practice, that means consistent, flicker-free light across every fixture on the circuit, which matters in spaces where lighting quality is part of the design intent.
Dimming is handled via DALI-2 protocol with a range of 0.1% to 100%. That lower floor is meaningful. Many drivers claiming “deep dim” capability bottom out noticeably around 1–5%, producing a visible step before cutoff. The 0.1% floor here allows for genuine low-level ambient scenes without perceptible artifacts. The driver is also Device Type 8 (DT8) compliant, supporting tunable white and RGBW control depending on the channel configuration selected.
The 4G version ships with four independent output channels, each addressable and independently configurable through the DALI system. If the DALI signal line is disconnected, channel 4 defaults to full output while channels 1–3 go dark, a useful failsafe behavior to know before commissioning. Up to 64 DALI addresses (0–63) can be assigned per driver, managed without cycling power through the integrated NFC interface.
