Casambi is a Finnish platform that controls lighting over a Bluetooth Low Energy mesh. Every compatible driver, sensor or switch is an intelligent node, and the whole system’s intelligence is copied into each one — so there’s no central controller to fail.

That means no control wiring and no commissioning software: set up, group, schedule and re-configure the whole installation from a free app, and push firmware updates over the air.

With an ecosystem of roughly 2,000 Casambi Ready products, it scales from a single room to an entire building, and pairs cleanly with a KNX installation through a gateway.
