Magna Carta Park is a luxury private estate combining townhouses and apartments in a prestigious setting near Windsor, UK. The KNX system gives residents refined control over lighting, heating, and ventilation, with premium JUNG keypads and Zennio touchscreen and app control supporting everyday comfort and long-term flexibility. Smart Building Solutions provided consulting, system design, and product specification to ensure each home in the development was delivered to a consistent high standard — elegant in use, reliable in operation, and built on an open platform that can grow with the resident's needs.
Challenge
Deliver a consistent, high-specification automation system across 51 individual townhouses and apartments, each requiring integrated control of lighting, heating, and ventilation without compromising on design quality or flexibility.
Solution
A KNX-based system was specified for every home, using JUNG LS990 F50 stainless steel keypads and Zennio Z41 touchscreen controllers. Lighting, underfloor heating, MVHR ventilation, and Vaillant boiler integration were all connected through one open-standard platform.
Result
Every residence in the development was delivered to the same specification — elegant control interfaces, integrated climate management, and a cloud app for remote access. Residents experience genuine comfort from day one, with a system that is easy to use and simple to expand.
